Oh there are SOO many ways to occupy your time! Getting ahead with your career, writing your blog, keeping up with your email, twitter, facebook, cleaning up, working out, sleeping, watching tv…. but what about your friends? Do you believe our relationships are one of the most important elements in our lives? I do, very much. We are, by nature, pack animals, and we need each other from conception until death.

When is the last time you took some time for your friends? What about your family? I am so far behind on nurturing my friendships that I am declaring April 11th-18th ‘Friend Appreciation Week’. So what will you do to send those people who are important to you the message? I am literally going to write it out. Emails can be great for the quick communication, texting too. Phone calls are pretty good. But when was the last time you wrote an actual letter? That’s what I’m going to do. A letter a day. Doesn’t have to be long. Just has to have the intention behind it. The “I am sending you this letter because I care about you and you are important to me”. That’s it.
