Some of us (like me) are still a little bit dubious up here in the Northeast as to whether this ‘Spring’ thing is really happening. We had such a, umm, WINTERY Winter, we just aren’t fully trusting that Spring is officially here.

We are starting to feel that sunshiny warmth and it sort of looks like there are leaves beginning to grow out there. The birds are optimistic and this energy spreads bikiniover to us, so we have this hopeful GLOW about us as we head into warmer weather.

Then we get excited when we don’t have to wear our coats anymore (I dumped my winter coat yesterday and it was a huge accomplishment!), THEN we start to show a little more arm, and a little more leg, and it feels really good to have sun on our skin, and before you know it… we’re in tanks, shorts and dresses! And SWIMSUITS! HOORAY!!

Wait… what just happened there…

IS that a ‘hooray’? Did the awesomeness of Spring just get dampened somehow? This is a GREAT time of year, right? So what could make us clam up and shut down?

Is it the swim suit thing that got you? Or just the thought of baring ANY extra skin? Does it make you feel weird and uncomfortable, icky, yuck?

You don’t want to wear that skin-showing stuff, so you might opt to keep around the long sleeves and the long pants. You will wear them even though you will be sweating your brains out. Ugh.
