Is it time for a change?
Usually, the answer to that question is YES, and that’s a good thing! The nature of life is to grow and change, and we are part of that. Even if you are in love with your life- part of that comes from the excitement of looking forward to what comes next. So what would you like to change?
I’m going to share with you 2 things I have done to create positive change in my life:
First– I keep a gratitude list. Every day I write down 10 things that I am grateful for. I can’t even tell you how powerful this is. It affects my whole attitude and perspective in life. I invite you to try it for just 30 days. The most important thing is to commit to following through EVERY day without one day missed. If you miss one day, start back at Day 1. Doing this exercise affects me in many positive ways, but for the point of this article, I am suggesting it so that you open yourself up to positive change.
Second– I have something I call an ‘image maker’. It is one page, written, of how I imagine my life to look within the next 5 years. It includes everything- biz, family, my home, how I look and feel, everything. I took this exercise on for 30 days and I suggest you do the same. Doing this exercise has created some amazing changes for me! What was the most interesting was that some of the things I wrote I had a lot of resistance to. I didn’t believe what I was writing at all. And at about day 15, I started to notice shifts in my life happening around those things I had resistance to in particular. It really surprised me! These are examples of what I do, but really the most important thing is that you put it out there. What do you want to change? You can follow my suggestions or come up with your own way to put it out there. But whatever you decide, make sure to take action on it right away. Because change is going to happen no matter what.
Makes sense to steer things in the direction of your choice and design the life of your dreams. This is just the beginning!
Fitfully Yours,
Miranda
