It’s Valentine’s week – the week when we splurge on chocolate and smell the roses, when we smother our loved ones with extra kisses, and when we take advantage of the pink candy sales and stock up for next year. We help our kids sign their Valentine’s Day cards, and focus our attention on loved ones. 

But this year, I want you to take a little time to reflect on yourself, love yourself, and congratulate yourself on all that you have accomplished thus far – YOU ARE AMAZING!

Take to Praise You

Take time this week (as you should everyday) to love yourself and all the beautiful, fabulousness that you are. Be sure to treat yourself to at least 5 minutes of self love, of unconditional, glowing warmth from you to yourself. If you have affirmations – shout them out with pride:

I AM FABULOUS
I AM POWERFUL
I AM MAKING WONDERFUL CHANGES IN MY LIFE
I AM ATTRACTING SUCCESS WITH EACH DECISION I MAKE

Love yourself, this week and every week, especially as you journey through periods of change. Changes can be some of the most difficult times, and love is one of the best ways to handle life’s challenges. Believe in yourself, trust yourself, love yourself. Because you have the ability to accomplish anything you truly desire. Stay positive and keep making the choices that will lead to your goals.

In honor of today’s theme – Love Yourself – I have chosen this week’s video to be a brand new 8-minute stretch. During this session, remember to take time to breathe deeply and give your body the love and appreciation it deserves.
