What have you been doing to keep yourself sane & healthy these past few months? I’ll share with you what myself, and many other women have been up to…

Whether you’re a stay at home mom, a working woman trying to juggle all the things, or a woman just trying to stay sane and healthy in our current climate, you’ve been challenged these past few months.

As have I. This is actually the first post I’ve created in over 3 months as a result of trying to ‘juggle all the things’. We’ve been done with ‘school’ for a few days now, thus I’m finding the time to sit and do MY things again. Sort of.

I will share that when the gym closed, I realized that not teaching the 8 classes I normally teach each week was going to make me: A- crazy, & B- fat. So I jumped right in and started livestreaming fitness classes.

And people started to take them! I began to receive comments about how my classes were helping other people stay sane.

They told me that I was helping them to create structure in the abrupt lack of it.

They told me that when they took my classes they were nicer and more patient with their families.

They told me that, despite the abrupt shift into not being able to be around others in person, doing my classes live with me made them feel connected.

They told me they were creating new habits they finally felt they had time to focus on, and losing weight & feeling amazing as a result. 

So I kept going! In the time since we went into quarantine, my little online fitness studio has grown. There are now 5 of us teaching a wide variety of different fitness classes. There is definitely something for everyone.

I wish I had found the time to write this post before now, it would have helped countless women to deal with the unprecedented amount of stress created by this pandemic.

However, now that I’ve shifted to ‘camp counselor’ from ‘school teacher’ I’ve got some wiggle room to reach out, and there’s never a lack of stress in the world.
